The Whirlwind Medusa Connect Series 16 Channel (4x XLR Connector} Return) Snake is a snake cable with a heavy-duty steel stage box at one end and a fanout at the other end. It features 16 channels, with an additional 4 return lines.
Snake cables make it possible to combine several balanced (microphone) cables into one smaller diameter multi-pair cable, making setup and teardown much faster and easier, with less tangling and clutter than would otherwise be the case.
